Opening of the Season 2026

Summer officially opens at Club Mykonos Langebaan on Saturday 12 December 2026, with fireworks at 22:00. To be there, book a table at one of the resort restaurants or get a ticket to Riaan Benadé live.

Every December, Club Mykonos opens the season with fireworks. This year they go up at 22:00 on Saturday 12 December, and the whole resort gets to look up at once.

Make an evening of it. Book dinner at one of the resort restaurants and take your time over dessert, or start at 20:00 with Riaan Benadé live and sing your way through to the main event. His show ends at 21:15, which leaves just enough time to grab a drink, find your spot and wait for the first one to go up.

Summer starts here, at 22:00 on 12 December.

How to get in

Entry on the night is for guests with either:

• a dinner booking at one of the resort restaurants, or
• a ticket to Riaan Benadé live (20:00, tickets from R250 on Quicket)

Fireworks at 22:00 make for a late night, and the drive home can wait until tomorrow. Stay over and your kaliva is a short walk away, so the night ends in bed instead of in traffic.
